Double Nectar points conditions:
To earn double Nectar points you must pay with your Sainsbury’s Nectar Credit Card and swipe your Nectar card. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other Nectar bonus point offers.

Sainsbury's Nectar Credit Card Nectar point conditions:
2 Nectar points are earned on each full £1 of each separate shopping transaction at Sainsbury’s for the first 2 years the account is open. Points from Sainsbury’s Telecoms, Diets and Energy will be treated as non-Sainsbury’s purchases. For non-Sainsbury’s purchases 1 Nectar point is earned on each full £5 of each separate transaction. Nectar points may take up to six weeks to appear on the customers account. Sainsbury’s Bank plc and Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd. reserve the right to alter or terminate the Nectar point offer at any time, without the need for prior notice. The Nectar point collection programme is subject to the Nectar Collector Rules, which are set out in the registration pack and are also available on nectar.com. †Your Nectar Card does not provide points on a limited range of Sainsbury’s goods and services – see in-store or the FAQ section of sainsburys.co.uk/nectar for details.

You're eligible to apply if you:

  • Are a Nectar card holder
  • Have a permanent UK address
  • Are over 18 years of age
  • Have not been declined credit in the last month
  • Do not have a history of bad credit
  • Are not an existing Sainsbury's Bank Credit Card holder

You can speed up your application if you have the following at hand:

  • Your bank or building society account details
  • Details of any loans, credit cards or store cards in your name
  • Your employer's name and address

Your online security

Your online credit card application is protected by high security, 128-bit encryption software.

Once you've completed your online application, we'll carry out a credit check. Once you're approved, we'll send you the completed application form so you can sign it, along with a copy of our terms and conditions.
