Our buildings and contents cover comes with a range of standard and additional options, like extended accidental damage and cover for full-time students. That means you can pick and mix to achieve the cover thats exactly right for you.

Accidental Damage

Building: Accidental damage to glass sanitary ware, underground pipes drains and tanks. This comes as standard.

Contents: Accidental damage to TV, video, audio, satellite receiving equipment, computer equipment, glass in furniture and mirrors. This comes as standard.

Extended Accidental Damage (available for both buildings and contents and are subject to an additional premium)
Provides cover for accidents not caused on purpose including DIY mishaps, damage caused by pets and spillages on carpets.

Extended Protection

This additional option covers your belongings wherever you are. You can take out a Personal Belongings option to cover you away from home. You can also take out 'Student Belongings' cover to protect your children's belongings in student premises.

Treasured Possessions

You can choose a suitable level of cover, starting from £5,000, for your high risk items like TV's, PC's, Laptops , valuable antiques and jewellery.

Mobile Phones

Available under basic contents or for an additional premium under personal belongings cover, you can insure against loss and damage to a mobile phone (up to £500) including:

Cost of calls made between the time mobile phone is stolen and the theft is reported to the service provider (up to £25).

Cost of calls made to friends and family to give new mobile number (up to £25).
