Key benefits and important information
Cover for life's uncertainties
Sainsbury's Critical Illness Cover is only available with a Sainsbury's Life Insurance policy. Including Critical Illness Cover in your Sainsbury's Life Insurance policy can give you added protection and a suite of additional benefits:
- Cover for 35 critical illnesses - 12 more than the Association of British Insurers guidelines
- You will pay one monthly premium that will include both your life insurance and critical illness cover
- Critical illness cover for your children is included at no extra charge. Of course, there are terms and conditions and you should make sure you've read them.
How it works
The length of time you choose to be insured for, is called the 'term'. For Sainsbury's Critical Illness Cover with level term insurance, you can choose between two and forty years. If you choose to take it out with decreasing term insurance, the term can be between five and forty years. For both options the plan must end before your 65th birthday.
