Mortgage protection

Let Sainsbury's Bank show you how award-winning mortgage protection may be able to save you money and help to provide genuine peace of mind. Get an instant quote here.

We offer two different types of mortgage protection:

  • Mortgage Term Assurance: with this type of mortgage protection you pay a fixed monthly premium for a set length of time. The policy pays out the full amount if you die or are diagnosed with a terminal illness, with a life expectancy of less than 12 months, during the term of the policy and are eligible to claim. Subject to terms and conditions.
  • Mortgage Decreasing Term Assurance: with this type of mortgage protection, you pay a fixed monthly premium but the amount you are insured for decreases over time roughly in line with your outstanding mortgage debt, depending on the amount of cover you choose at the start. Because of this, the monthly premiums are generally less. Subject to terms and conditions.

Whichever type of mortgage protection you decide suits your needs, we can offer you a competitive quote and straightforward, friendly service. And we're not just saying that. We won Moneyfacts magazine's award for 'Most Competitive Term Assurance Direct Provider' 2006.

Why not find out what that could mean for you? Get your Sainsbury's mortgage protection quote here.
