Competitive car insurance doesn't mean that you can't receive a range of great benefits. Our car insurance also offers a number of useful features - all included in the price when you take out Comprehensive cover:
- Protection against vandalism and malicious damage - if you need to make a claim for vandalism or malicious damage, your no claim discount won't be affected. You just need to make sure you report it to the police and get a crime reference number.
- Courtesy car - unlike some insurers, a courtesy car is included as standard with Comprehensive cover. We'll make sure you're still on the road whilst your car is being repaired by one of our recommended repairers.
- Uninsured driver protection - don't worry if you have an accident with an identified uninsured driver and it's not your fault - you'll still keep your no claim discount. Terms and conditions apply.
- £200 cover for your shopping - you can claim up to £200 for any loss or damage to Sainsbury's shopping in the car caused by vehicle accident, fire, theft or attempted theft
- Support and compensation - if you're the unfortunate victim of a physical assault during a car-jacking or a road rage incident, we'll give you up to £1,000 compensation and access to free counselling. Terms and conditions apply.
Optional extras
If you'd like some additional peace of mind with your car insurance, you can also select:
- Protected no claim discount for life - protect your no claim discount for the life of your policy, so regardless of the number of claims you make you won't lose it.*
- Breakdown assistance - you'll have the reassurance of Green Flag Roadside Assistance, Home Rescue or Recovery
- Motoring legal protection - if you're involved in an accident that's not your fault, this addition to car insurance cover means we'll look after the cost of recovering your uninsured losses.

- 24-hour windscreen replacement helpline (Comprehensive cover only)
- With our Comprehensive cover, you'll get a 5-year guarantee on all the repairs if you use one of our recommended repairers
- Also with our Comprehensive cover, if your car is too badly damaged to repair, we'll make you a realistic offer within 48 hours of the car being classed as unsuitable for repair.
