Finance - 1 Vacancy


Liquidity Analyst - Permanent, Edinburgh   (Closing date 3rd November)

As Liquidity Analyst, you'll proactively identify, quantify and report on funding and liquidity risk, produce daily and monthly cash flow forecasts to support funding and liquidity planning and maintain and develop Treasury cash and liquidity forecasting models. The role holder will take day to day ownership of the liquidity stress test regime and will be responsible for review and any required re‐engineering of the bank internal liquidity stress tests together with oversight of the stress testing required for regulatory purposes.

Customer Research

The Customer Research team want to understand customers and market data and provide the support needed to develop business strategy. By understanding the type of information needed, how it can be collected and how to use it, we can develop a customer focused marketing strategy.

The Graduate programme offers an opportunity to focus on customer analytics, which is essential for successful New Product Development, market positioning, market development and competitive strategy. You'll be working with our ‘big data’ warehouse that combines retail and Bank data to give a unique insight of our customers.



In our Marketing graduate programme you'll be developing integrated campaigns to both acquire and retain Sainsbury’s shoppers as Bank customers across our product range. This is a great opportunity to understand the customer lifecycle and work within a customer focused creative team.



Our Commercial graduate programme offers a great opportunity to gain a strong foundation for a career in retail banking. During the programme you'll be working with the teams within the Banking and Insurance departments supporting the design, distribution, management and marketing of our products. The Commercial team also have responsibility for delivering sales and achieving goals through meeting the financial services needs of our customers.


Business Change

Our Business Change team's role is to drive the development and delivery of the Bank’s Change strategy and agenda.

You'll be working on projects that enable the business to meet its strategic objectives, provide functional leadership and expertise to build and enhance the Bank's change capability. You'll gain an understanding of change governance across the bank as well as being involved in change planning & prioritisation and the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programmes.



Our Risk Graduate programme will offer a breadth of exposure across all of our non financial risk disciplines including Operational Risk, Fraud, Business Continuity and Legal & Compliance.

You'll develop a broad understanding of the retail banking environment and focus on delivering good customer outcomes whilst understanding how to protect our customers, reputation and business from unexpected risk exposures.

Support the Operations Service Delivery Managers and contribute to the oversight of internal and external service providers to ensure the consistent delivery of great customer service across all customer touch‐points.
