Overall responsibility for day to day management, performance delivery and relationship with our Fraud Operations third party service providers. The role holder will build a strong collaborative governance framework that yields positive customer focussed outcomes, exceptional customer service, and promotes imbedding of Sainsbury’s Bank service strategy, risk appetite and Values. This will lead to cross entity operational improvement opportunities to gain maximum value from the relationship.

Information Security Manager - Permanent, Edinburgh (Closing 19th December 2014)

The purpose of this role is to manage assigned areas of Information Security for Sainsbury's Bank, ensuring that information assets are protected according to the principles of availability, integrity and confidentiality. To participate in projects as the Information Security Subject Matter Expert and ensure security requirements are both built into business and technology solutions and continue to operate effectively in live production.

Procurement Manager - Permanent, Edinburgh (Closing 19th December 2014)

This role is responsible for ensuring that Sainsbury's Bank derives best value from its external expenditure on goods and services (across multiple categories) and delivers its cost savings targets. This will be achieved by the identification and delivery of best practice sourcing techniques to select and manage good suppliers, mitigating risk through effective contracts and ensuring that the business gets what it needs to achieve its strategic ambitions (quality, reliability, timeliness and fit for purpose). The post holder will recommend, develop and deliver strategies that: a) improve the performance of personal loan book; and b) counter adverse performance trends identified via credit risk reporting. You will develop relationships with personal lending team within Sainsbury’s Bank ensuring credit risk management and business area are working towards common goals. You will also ensure that the migration of the loans portfolio onto new bank platforms runs smoothly by developing appropriate migration of credit risk strategies and processes.


Compliance Consultant - Permanent, Edinburgh (Closing 18th December)

This role is required to provide oversight and guidance, in relation to compliance with the FCA’s principles, rules and guidance, relevant regulatory requirements, FCA-related matters and Financial Ombudsman Service guidance. The post holder will provide oversight and guidance, to the Bank in relation to compliance with the Data Protection Act and associated guidance. You will also undertake effective compliance oversight of relevant outsourced providers, ensuring that all services are provided to agreed and acceptable regulatory standards, extending to consideration of fair customer outcomes.

As Risk Review Manager you will be responsible for assessing the risk management framework being developed for Operations in the New Bank, making sure it’s aligned with the requirements of the Bank’s Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework.

The role holder will be responsible for risk analysis & reporting for Operations, providing insight into how effectively risks are being managed and identifying areas for improvement. The role holder will also contribute to the oversight of the quality of the risk data, produce regular and ad hoc risk analysis & reporting and make recommendations for developing the risk reporting.

You will work within the Legal Team of Sainsbury's Bank and provide effective and timely legal advice on a broad range of commercial issues to support the entire Sainsbury's Bank business. You will be a confident and self‐motivated individual with a minimum of 2 years relevant commercial experience from private practice or an in‐house position in a corporate/commercial contracts role. You will be qualified to practice law in Scotland or England (or dual-qualified).

You will have the ability to communicate and influence at all levels and your organisational and analytical skills will be strong. The ability to work well as part of a team is also important. You will be a strong support to the other Legal Team members through assisting with their ongoing projects as well as taking control of your own projects.
