Independent, impartial body who's role is to settle disputes between consumers and financial firms, as an alternative to the courts.

Financial Services Authority (FSA)

The independent body that regulates the financial services industry in the UK. Their overall aim is to "promote efficient, orderly and fair markets and to help retail consumers achieve a fair deal".
