Your policy

Sainsbury's Travel Insurance offers you fantastic cover, from up to £10 million in medical cover, to providing translators if you need help in a foreign country.

However, there are some circumstances where we can't guarantee to cover you. Read your policy documents carefully to know exactly what you're covered for and what to do if you do need to call on us.

The main exclusions are:

  • Travelling against medical advice.
  • Pre-existing medical conditions that have not been agreed by us.
  • Hazardous sports or activities that have not been agreed by us.
  • Pregnancy or childbirth, if the due date is less than 12 weeks after the end of the journey.
  • Theft from unattended vehicles in some circumstances.
  • Loss of, or damage to, baggage not reported within 24 hours.
  • Flying, except as a fare-paying passenger.
  • An excess (how much you must pay towards a claim) will apply to some sections.

  • If you need to access your documents after the duration of your policy.
  • If you can't print your documents or prefer to receive a paper copy.
  • If you need your documents in large print, braille or on audio cassette.
