All new and existing Sainsbury’s Bank Travel Insurance policies cover you for emergency medical treatment and/or medical repatriation if you contract COVID-19 during your overseas trip. This cover is only provided if you are travelling to a destination where there’s no restriction from the FCO.

Policies sold after 13 March 2020 do not provide cover for any other claims related to COVID-19, including cancellation.

If you’re planning a round-the-world adventure, a gap year or a long visit to see family or friends overseas then our extended stay policy will have you covered. Our Silver and Gold policies cover trips of up to 365 days and our Platinum policy covers you for up to 548 days.

*20% discount applies when you quote a valid Nectar card number. Discount does not apply to the premium for pre-existing medical conditions or enhanced gadget cover.
