How to complete the request form

To obtain a copy of the information we hold about you, please complete the below form in full and provide as much detail as possible. This will assist us in ensuring that we tailor your response to what you want. We do not charge for this service.

Once you have completed the form check that you have:

  • Signed and dated the form
  • Enclosed any written authority from the person named in section 3. Please ensure you provide either an original document or certified copy of this person’s written authority if you are aware Sainsbury’s Bank do not already have this on file
  • Enclose any additional sheets of paper you have used

When we need to contact you

By post
After you have received your acknowledgement letter, all subsequent communications will also be by post.

By Electronic Portal
You will receive an acknowledgement letter by post. After that, when we need to contact you, you will receive secure email messages via the Bank’s Secure Email portal. You will receive notification that a new message is waiting for you on the portal from:
no-reply@sainsburysbank.co.uk.

The first Sainsbury’s Bank Secure Email notification that you receive includes an Activation Code and a link to the Sainsbury’s Bank Secure Email Portal registration page. Once you have activated your account, you can log in and read your message.

When your data is ready

When your information has been collated, we will return it to you by the method you have selected in the form.

If this is by post, we will ensure it is a secure delivery.

If this is by the customer portal, you will receive an email to advise you that your data is available on the Secure Email Portal and also a letter sent by post, which will contain a separate password that you will need to access your information. We do not send this password to you by email for security reasons.
